Italian company Ranieri obtains Friend of the Earth sustainability certification for extra virgin olive oil

 

 

Ranieri – Italian company from Umbria region – has recently obtained Friend of the Earth sustainability certification for its Umbria P.D.O. extra virgin olive oil. The company can now display the official seal of approval on its products.


With over 70 years of experience, Ranieri specializes in production of high quality vegetable oils, including extra virgin olive oil and olive oil.


Umbria P.D.O. extra virgin olive oil is a typical Umbrian oil obtained through the cold pressing of the drupe shortly after harvesting, to preserve its excellent features and produce intense, but harmonious product.


“Since 1930s, Ranieri has focused on offering high quality products to its customers,” says Raoul Ranieri, CEO of Ranieri. “We have implemented many environmental policies throughout the years, but thanks to Friend of the Earth certification we have taken a step forward towards sustainability.”
